While the Piece tokens are structured as a long-term investment (typically 10 years to maturity), we have built the necessary functionality to facilitate the sale of your tokens before the maturity date through a Secondary Trading Market.
This secondary market is designed to provide investors with a liquidity option.
Conditions for Listing:
Your ability to list your Piece tokens for sale is subject to two essential regulatory and structural conditions:
Minimum Holding Period: You must hold the Piece tokens for a minimum period of six months before you are eligible to list it on the secondary market. This minimum holding period is specified in the Subscription Agreement.
Market Activation: The secondary trading market for a specific property's token only becomes active and available for use after the primary sale of the entire token has been successfully completed.
Important Note: The liquidity of your investment relies on finding a third-party buyer. There is no guarantee that a secondary market buyer will be available at your desired price or at any time. If you do not sell on the secondary market, you will receive your principal repayment and any accrued bonus interest on the token's original Maturity Date.
